This is my pure & simple white sourdough starter developed & fed with unbleached, fine ground, wheat flour. To re-hydrate for use in breads, buns, pancake batter, rolls & anything else you can imagine! Once rehydrated, use like you would for any recipe that calls for sourdough "discard" or "starter" depending on the phase of feeding.
Includes one 5-7oz packet of dehydrated "Pure & Simple" sourdough starter, directions to rehydrate & favored recipes.
Ingredients: Unbleached Hard Red Wheat & Malted Barley flour.
Original Sourdough Starter (sourdough can be thousands of years old!): 12/01/2023.
Dehydration Date (dry packet included to ensure freshness): 12/12/2023

I’ve used this dehydrated starter on two occasions and both times I’ve gotten a really nice active starter. I make sourdough sandwich bread, pastries, and snacks more than artisanal loaves, but I would imagine you’d get a great loaf out of this starter too, given how active it is.
