2023 Spider Lk Wisconsin Site Visit Cost Estimate (Price/Site)

*I have included an in-person site visit AND virtual site visit option. We would have to test the virtual site visit option prior to arrangements to confirm that there is ample cell phone service on the shoreline of potential sites. On-site people in attendance would need to make any requested measurements if the landowner requests project quotes. These would still include a visit summary and recommendations as are listed below.

I've laid out three scenarios based on the number of site visits completed in one day in Sawyer County, Wisconsin (presumably a Friday, Saturday or Sunday). This includes travel expenses (3.75-4 Hour drive, 200 miles, one-way), on-site assessment, summary of the visit & general recommendations for projects. Potential projects could include but are not limited to yard slope checks (to slow the flow of the water), yard restoration (using native grass), hillside erosion control (biodegradable fabric, soil wraps, vegetation density), raingarden, shoreline erosion control, shoreline buffer, pollinator habitat & wetland restoration or assessment.

The visit price will also include (if desired, must indicate interest to Sheila, in writing, for this) a quote for the potential project(s) on site. Generally, these are split up in order of priority and to assess budget necessary to complete either one at a time or all at once.

Project quote pricing is subject to change (lower or higher by up to 15%). Local suppliers are changing their material rates at an unusually fast rate. One specific supplier now states that their pricing is only guaranteed for one week from issuance.

A detailed project summary with a specific plant list, project design specifics (bioengineered graphic drawings for i.e., raingardens) and timeline is available upon request and additional cost at $100/hour. Pricing quotes for this service would be given on a site-by-site basis due to the difference in complexity of different sites.

Each site visit is typically one hour long, give or take 15 minutes depending on the complexity of the site or on-site visitor discussions.

*This price is good for March 2023 - September 2024. I will be unavailable for site visits May - August of 2023 (booked). Resuming visits in September 2023. I am more than willing to visit sites in the off-season even if there is snow on the ground if the landowner(s) have photographs of the erosion during the growing season to share.
